Our History

In August 2009 Dr. Mark & Dr. Kathy Kirkland founded “Temple of Faith Apostolic Ministries Inc”. TF was originally located at 4103 Zephyr Road in Killeen, Texas with the first services on 4 September 2009. After just 20 months at that location, in May 2011 God directed Pastor Kirkland to move the church to our present location at 808 N. 8th Street in Killeen, Texas. During this transition Pastor Kirkland would often quote:

(Psalms 124:2 If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us)

Our current location was formally a gym, where people worked to transform the outer man, now its a place for the inner man to grow and flourish. Much work and sacrifice was rendered by the membership of TF along with family and friends to transform the old gym into the beautiful sanctuary we now worship in today! After 3 years of leasing our current edifice, in July 2014 TF purchased the building! You can still hear Dr. Mark & Kathy quoting:

(Romans 8:31 If God be for us, who can be against us?)

It has been an awesome journey of Faith; filled with so many great achievements, with none more stirring than the purchasing of 27 acres of prime real estate in December 2016. As the beginning phase of our "New Church Campus Project" takes off, pray with us as we patiently wait with earnest expectation for the next great move of God!
